CASTROL Iloform MR 29

Description

Castrol Iloform™ MR 29 is a high viscosity aluminium mould release fluid based on mineral oil, containing a blend

of high performance lubricity additives based on a high temperature stable synthetic ester.

Application

Iloform MR 29 has been specifically designed for use as mould release fluid in discontinuous casting of aluminium

sheet ingots.

The product allows high casting speeds and shows a very good thermal stability at high working temperatures.

Due to its excellent lubricity Iloform MR 29 avoids tearing and hang-up of ingots in the mould and provides a high

quality surface finish.
