Description
Castrol Iloform ™ KEK-T3 (previously called KEK-T3) is a specially formulated emulsion lubricant, containing an
aqueous blend of high performance boundary lubricity and antiwear additives, emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors as well
as a special wax and modified resin system.
The product is free from inorganic fillers, chlorine and sulfur additives, boron and heavy metals.
Application
Iloform KEK-T3 is designed to be used as a release agent for various plastics forming processes, such as resin
injection, extrusion, blow and press molding. It can also be applied in rubber injection molding and aluminum die
casting processes.
Further the excellent corrosion resistance of the coating allows the product to be used as a protective coating agent for
ferrous metals.
Iloform KEK-T3 can be used as supplied for corrosion protection applications or used diluted to a concentration of 20 -
50% in water for mold release purposes.
