CASTROL Iloform™ FN 612

Description

Castrol Iloform ™ FN 612 (previously called Form Oil 612) is a medium viscosity forming oil. It is a blend of high

performance extreme pressure compounds, anti wear additives and corrosion inhibitors in a fully solvent refined mineral

oil.

Application

Iloform FN 612 is specifically formulated for use in high severity cold heading, back extrusion and bar drawing

operations on ferrous metals, where high speeds and feed rates and a landlord grade of deformation of the

workpiece demands highest performance from the lubricant employed.

Iloform FN 612 is particularly recommended for ardous applications, such as cold forming of valves, gudgeon pins and

clamping chucks, secondary upsetting of spark plug center posts, back extrusion of tools and high speed drawing of

rectangular bar sections.
