CASTROL Iloform™ PN 400

Description

Castrol Iloform™ PN 400 (previously called Castrol Product D 503) is a low viscosity, chlorine and heavy metal free,

vanising stamping fluid. It is a blend of high lubricity boundary lubrication and wetting additives wetting agents, in low

odour isoparaffinic hydrocarbon.

Application

Iloform PN 400 is specially formulated for use in light duty metal stamping operations on magnetic sheet with high

silicon content.

It is also well suitable for stamping low collar height (up to 2.1mm) aluminium fins in the refrigeration industry and

shows excellent compatibility with the industries special requirements.

requirements that specify that these chemicals are excluded.

Good operator acceptance as based on a mild odour, very low aromatic isoparaffinic hydrocarbon.

Contains high performance boundary lubricants to maximise punch life which helps to minimise costs

associated with tool repolishing.

Excellent wetting provides thin, homogenous lubricating film to provide excellent surface finish.

Quick drying, low residue characteristics can eliminate requirements for inter process cleaning.

Low viscosity maximises flushing effect to aid removal of particulates from punches and dies, minimising

component defects. It also reduces drag out rates hence lowers product consumption.
