CASTROL Rustilo DWX 22

Description

Castrol Rustilo™ DWX 22 is a water displacing corrosion preventive for up to 12 months protection (please refer

to the statement at the end of this document).

Rustilo DWX 22 is a clear brown fluid composed of petroleum waxes, corrosion inhibitors, dewatering and wetting

agents in a hydrocarbon solvent. It leaves a soft greasy film after drying.

Application

Rustilo DWX 22 is a medium term protective for a variety of applications in machine shops and heavy machinery

and plant manufacture. It can also be used as a mild lubricant, e.g. in press work applications.

Contains a powerful corrosion inhibitor – suitable for severe conditions. Excellent protection of

components.

 • Good dewatering properties – avoids entrapment of water. Prevents corrosion under film.

Resistant to emulsification with water or alkaline washings – suitable for dewatering parts wet with soluble

oils. Eliminates additional cleaning process.

Good mechanical film strength and finger print suppressing properties – highly finished work not damaged

by handling. Improves product quality.
