Application

Castrol Hydraulic is primarily used in hydraulic equipment, but is suitable for other tasks where lubricants are required

with good oxidation stability and lubrication performance. The quality of its base oils and additives allows the application of the

Castrol Hydraulic range in lightly loaded gears and for use as a circulating oil in applications where an oil is required

inhibited for rust and oxidation. Castrol Hydraulic oils meet the specification requirements of the

Vickers vane pump, DIN 51524 Part 2 and are classified according to DIN 51502 - HLP and ISO 6743/4 classification - as oils

hydraulic type HM. The range is fully compatible with elastomer materials commonly used for static seals and

dynamic, such as nitrile, silicone, and fluorinated polymers (eg Viton).
