CASTROL Brayco 855

Description

Castrol Brayco® 855 is a light colored synthetic-based lubricating and preservative oil. Castrol Brayco® 855 is

formulated as a weapons preservative and lubricating oil for aircraft and ground-based small weapons to insure

efficient firing at low temperature.

Temperature Range

-69ºF to 0ºF (-56ºC to -18ºC)

Additional Information

Do not use this lubricating oil in food-processing or food-handling machinery on surfaces that may contact food.

Do not allow the oil to contaminate foodstuffs. This lubricant may soften paint, natural rubbers, plastics, or

neoprene with contact.

Packaging

Castrol Brayco® 855 is available in 55 gallon drums, 5 gallon pails and 24/1 quart cases.

Specification

Castrol Brayco® 855 meets the requirements of and is qualified to

MIL-PRF-14107D. This specification is also identified by military symbol: LAW, and NATO code: O-157.

Storage

Before use, the lubricating oil may be stored under conditions of covered or uncovered storage at temperatures

ranging from -70ºF to 120ºF (-57ºC to 49ºC).
