Description
Castrol Brayco™ Micronic 745 is a petroleum-based, low viscosity, light-colored, hydraulic fluid for use in high
performance hydraulic systems. It is a blend of selected highly refined base stocks with suitable additives to offer
unusually good anti-wear properties, controlled rubber swell, and excellent oxidation stability. It provides
corrosion protection and is completely shear stable.
Temperature Range
Brayco Micronic 745 is designed to operate over the temperature range of -46ºC to 149ºC (-51ºF to 300ºF)
Application
Brayco Micronic 745 is designed for use in precision hydraulic systems such as the thrust vector control systems
of missiles. It was developed to replace Navord OS 9196A in hydraulic systems where reliability and storage
stability are major requirements. Excellent shear, storage stability and high flash point enable this product to be
used in high performance systems including computer applications and flight simulators.
