Mobil Rarus SHC 1000 Series oils are mainly designed for rotari screw and vane compressors. These oils are particularly successful in high temperature uninterrupted operations, where the discharge temperatures can reach up to 200ºC. Rarus SHC 1000 Series oils are recommended for units with excessive oil deterioration, problematic valve performance and deposit formation. These oils are compatible with conventional mineral based air compressors oils as well as all kinds of metals used in compressor manufacturing; however, if they are mixed with these oils, their overall performance capacity decreases.
Mobil Rarus SHC 1000 Series oils are not recommended for air compressors applications used in breathing apparatus.
