Explanation
Castrol Braycote ™ 1632 is a smooth, white translucent NLGI Grade 2 lubricant based on a low-volatile perfluoroether base
thickened with oil and tetrafluoroethylene gelling agent. Castrol Fluoroclean ™ X100 and Castrol Fluoroclean ™ can be
this is used to remove the lubricant. For information about these products, see their data sheets.
Application
Braycote 1632 is designed for use in static and dynamic lubrication of ball and roller bearings, gears, actuator and lead
screw drive assemblies. This product can also be used as a thread and elastomer Assembly lubricant. Braycote is 1632
compatible with both concentrated acids and bases. Perfluorinated greases, in general, exhibit excellent shelf life
their inner inertness.

Limitations
Braycote 1632 is compatible with conventional metals, plastics and elastomers under normal operating conditions. He
it can be negatively affected by Lewis acids such as Alcl3 at high temperatures. Friction of aluminum surfaces,
under certain conditions, magnesium or titanium alloys can react with Braycote 1632. Such systems should be careful
