Description

Explanation

Castrol Braycote ™ Micronic 700 is a smooth, buttery, translucent, Off-White, NLGI # 2 lubricant. Castrol uses Brayco

815Z as base liquid and a tetrafluoroethylene telomere as gelling agent. Specially formulated for this product

provide exceptional anti-wear properties combined with ultra-low gas output and extreme temperature use

features. Braycote Micronic 700 exhibits superior chemical resistance and is non-toxic, non-flammable, chemically

it is inert and does not use any chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) during product production. It has excellent lubrication property

its characteristics promote good shear stability, low acute toxicity and long rolling element cycle life. Castrol

Fluoroclean ™ X100 can be used to remove this lubricant. See the Fluoroclean X100 Data Sheet for more information

regarding this product.

Application

Braycote Micronic 700 is designed to work in the presence of fuels, oxidizers and Deep Space Applications

vacuum at low temperatures. It is used in Gears, ball and roller bearings, electrical contacts and "O" rings. This oil

highly recommended for applications where extreme temperatures and/or low vacuums are routine, such as cryogenic

coolers, FLIR, laser optical systems or hostile chemical environments. Perfluorinated greases such as this product,

they exhibit excellent shelf life due to their intrinsic inertness.

Temperature range: - 80ºC to 204ºC (- 112ºF to 400ºF)

Terms Of Use

Limitations:

Braycote Micronic 700 is compatible with all commonly used materials, plastics and elastomers. This can be negative

at high temperatures it is affected by Lewis acid catalysts such as Alc13. Newly exposed friction surfaces of aluminum,

magnesium and titanium can react with this product under certain conditions. Such systems should be careful

he was evaluating. Surfaces must be well cleaned from organic rust inhibitors before applying grease to ensure proper lubrication.

Braycote Micronic 700 is not recommended for use in high vacuum applications with loads exceeding 100,000 Psi

for a long time.

Packaging

Braycote Micronic 700 is packaged in 2 oz (AVDP) disposable polypropylene syringes.
