Explanation
Castrol Braycote ® 622 is a synthetic hydrocarbon base without soap
thickened oil. Offers superior high and low temperature
properties, water resistance and overpressure properties
making it suitable for applications that exceed their capabilities
the best traditional greases. Castrol Braycote ® 622 has good oxidation
and corrosion resistance, low bleeding and evaporation rate and minimum
effect on rubber seals. Compatibility with mineral oil based greases
this is an additional advantage.
Temperature Range
- 54ºC to 177ºC (- 65ºF to 350ºF).
Use
Castrol Braycote ® 622 is particularly suitable for aircraft applications
wheel bearings, helicopter rotor bearings, control systems and other
applications including conveyor bearings, small alternator bearings
Operating at temperatures near 350ºf (177ºC), high-speed miniature
ball bearings and oscillation, vibration and
fretting creates problems.
