Mobil Almo 500 Series oils are super quality and superior performance products intended for the lubrication of drills used in the gallery and in the open area, for pneumatic drilling of rocks in mining operations. Mobil Almo 500 Series is formulated with high quality base oils and additives that provide high protection against wear and corrosion and excellent chemical stability. While these oils provide optimum adhesion, they can also create the emulsion that will catch the moisture of the air flow, reducing the negative effects of water in terms of wear and corrosion. It does not form gummy residue, which will cause the valve movement to get worse. Mobil Almo 500 Series oils have the desired metal-wetting properties to form a continuous oil film even in environments with water. All these features together with EP characteristics provide excellent lubrication that extends equipment life.
Mobil Almo 500 Series has a high-viscosity index and low pour point properties that provide good lubrication at low temperatures caused by frosting stops and air expansion, while forming a suitable thickness oil film on the drill parts that remain in working condition at high temperatures. Oil mist formation is very low.
