CASTROL ILOCUT 219

Description

Castrol Ilocut™ 219 (previously named Ilobroach 219) is a high performance chlorinated and fatted metalworking lubricant

especially developed for precision form tool operations such as broaching and gear cutting of difficult to machine alloys

and stainless steels.

Application

Castrol Ilocut 219 gives an excellent surface finish under these arduous conditions and helps to extend the life of

complicated and costly form tools. High performance alloys used in gas turbines and in nuclear, aerospace and missile

engineering present many machinery problems, the more rigorous the service they are developed for, the more difficult

they are to machine. Due to the complexity of the component involved - a gas turbine disc for instance - the

consequential loss in time and money involved from just one substandard cut is considerable.

As with all chlorinated products, water contamination should be avoided.

This product was previously named Ilobroach 219. The name was changed in 2015.

Storage

To avoid product deterioration always keep the container/drum tightly sealed. Store the product in a cool, dry place away

from direct sunlight. Prevent exposure to frost and avoid water ingress. For optimum product stability, it is preferable to

store the product indoors between 5°C and 45 °C / 41°F and 113°F.
