Description

Castrol Optisil™ WX Spray is a wax-like silicone synthetic lubricant spray, which forms an almost transparent dry

lubricating film with good adhesion.

It has good compatibility with non-metallic machine elements or materials and outstanding separation ability for tools and

workpieces made out of plastics.

Application

-Castrol Optisil WX Spray can be used in many applications as shown below.

-Textile Industry - Plastic rollers and combs, grippers, bolts and rods of rapier looms.

-Paper and Wood Industries - Cut-off blades for paper and pulp, saw blades, transport chain guides, wooden rails (furniture industry) etc.

-Metal Working Industries - Rolling knives (extended service lives), trimming of sheet metal (ensures smooth, clean

edges), cutting of soft metals, non-cutting shaping of special steels.

-Apparatus Engineering and Precision Mechanics - Guides of sliding surfaces, small gears (precision instruments,

i.e. cameras, office equipment, food processing devices).

-Rubber and Plastic Applications Resp. Processing - Guides, O-rings, cutting of acrylic glass, as a separating agent

for manufacture of transparent casings of industrial batteries and accumulators.

User Advice

-Castrol Optisil WX spray shake well before use. At a distance of about 15 cm to 20 cm to the lubrication point uniformly and

thin spray.
