Description
Castrol Perfecto™ XPG is a range of high performance mineral oil based lubricants with a high degree of thermal and
oxidative stability and also with enhanced load carrying properties. Perfecto XPG is intended primarily for the lubrication of
large gas turbines, but its use should also be considered in any large items of rotating equipment where a long lubricant
life and clean operation is desired to maximise equipment availability.
Castrol Perfecto XPG also possesses excellent air release properties and resistance to foaming in addition to good water
separation performance which is required for the lubrication of steam turbines, making it suitable for Combined Cycle
generating systems where steam and gas turbines share a common oil supply.
