Description
BP Energol RC-R is a group of compressor oils based on highly refined mineral oils with carefully selected additives. They are intended for the lubrication of screw and reciprocating compressors.
Application
BP Energol RC-R ashless oils are recommended for the lubrication of rotors, bearings and gears in rotary compressors, especially oil-flooded screw compressors operating at temperatures up to 120 ° C.
Energol RC-R compressor oils have a low tendency to deposit formation and meet the requirements of DIN 51 506 VD-L for reciprocating compressors with an outlet air temperature of up to 220 ° C.
Energol RC-R 32 and 46 oils are suitable for oil flooded rotary compressors and Energol RC-R 68 and 100 can be used for the lubrication of crankcases and cylinders of reciprocating compressors. Selection of the appropriate viscosity should be based on the recommendations of the compressor manufacturer.
BP Energol RC-R series oils are fully compatible with sealing materials made of nitrile, silicone,
fluoropolymers.
The BP Energol RC-R series of oils meets the requirements of:
DIN 51 506 VD-L
ISO 6743-3 for compressor oils
DAA and DAB for reciprocating compressors
DAG for rotary compressors.
Energol RC-R oils meet the requirements of:
Atlas Copco (2000 hours)
Compair
Advantages
The excellent water separation properties allow water condensate to quickly separate from the oil, minimizing the risk of an emulsion that could clog the oil separator components.
Prevents corrosion when used in a humid environment.
The excellent coalescing properties mean that the oil is not removed with the compressed air.
The low tendency to deposit formation guarantees an extended oil change interval and ensures a longer service life of the air filters, which reduces operating costs.
Good thermal stability, low volatility and a small amount of carbon deposits reduce the risk of fire and explosion.
