It is an extra high performance synthetic diesel engine oil designed to provide very good lubrication of modern, high performance diesel engines operating in heavy road and off-road conditions. This diesel engine oil has been designed using high performance base oils that provide excellent low temperature fluency, high temperature viscosity protection, evaporation control and increase fuel economy. These base oils have been developed with an advanced additive system that ensures a high level of protection of all parts of the engine. Mobil Delvac XHP Extra 10W-40 is designed to provide long oil change intervals in diesel engines.
