Castrol Rock Drill Extra Heavy 1000 is designed for extreme loads in rock drill applications and formulated with extra high viscosity that increases the film strength during extreme loads. Castrol Rock Drill Extra Heavy 1000 is formulated with extreme pressure, rust, and corrosion protection additives while providing tackiness for adherence to drill surfaces.

Castrol Rock Drill Extra Heavy 1000 meets the performance requirements of many rock drill manufacturers such as Ingersoll Rand, Gardner- Denver, and Sullivan.

Rock drill splines are subject to sliding action under intense pressure. To prevent metal-to-metal contact, Castrol Rock Drill Extra Heavy 1000 provides outstanding extreme pressure characteristics in highly loaded pressures.

Castrol Rock Drill Extra Heavy 1000 is recommended for use in heavy-duty pneumatic rock drill applications such as Gardner-Denver, Chicago Pneumatic Worthington, Ingersoll-Rand, Joy, etc. Other air operated tools that require extreme pressure lubricant such as jackhammers, pavement breakers, smaller in plant pneumatic tools, drills, wrenches, etc.
