Mobilgear XMP Series high performance industrial gear oils are designed to provide optimum equipment protection and oil life under the harshest conditions. Mobilgear XMP Series has been developed using high quality mineral base oils and advanced technology additives to provide excellent protection against traditional wear such as scratches, as well as high resistance to pitting. This structure also provides improved lubrication of gearbox bearings. Mobilgear XMP Series products provide superior protection against rust and corrosion compared to conventional gear oils, including in environments where protection against seawater and acidic water is required. It does not tend to clog fine-mesh filters even in a damp state and is perfectly compatible with ferrous and non-ferrous metals even at the highest temperatures.

Mobilgear XMP oils are recommended for industrial type closed gear drive systems consisting of all steel spur, helical and bevel gear systems. Especially recommended for heavy-duty gearboxes with pitting and hardened tooth surfaces. It can also be used in gear applications where excessive corrosion is observed.
