Gargoyle Arctic 155
C Heavy and 300 products are high performance naphthenic mineral oils developed mainly for use in refrigeration compressors. Since they do not contain wax, they have a very low pour point and excellent fluidity at low temperatures. As a result, the use of Gargoyle Arctic oils keeps the evaporator tubes clean, increasing heat transfer and reducing downtime for maintenance. These oils have very good chemical stability and are suitable for cylinder and bearing lubrication.
Gargoyle Arctic 155, C Heavy and 300 are compatible with any type of refrigerant gas, except sulfur dioxide. These are not recommended for use with HFC refrigerants. The moisture content of Gargoyle Arctic 155, C Heavy and 300 oils in packaged form is very low. All precautions should be taken to keep the oil dry in order to prevent the formation of ice in the expansion valves, to limit oil deterioration and copper plating.
