CASTROL Iloform™ FN 100

Description

Castrol Iloform ™ FN 100 (previously called LF Cutting Oil) is a medium viscosity forming oil. It is a blend of high

performance chlorinated and sulphurised extreme pressure additives, in a fully solvent refined paraffinic mineral oil.

Application

Iloform FN 100 is specially formulated for use in high severity operations in high speed, progressive cold heading

machines. It provides excellent performance in the production of high alloy steel fasteners and in stainless steel bolt

and nut forming.

Iloform FN 100 is also suitable for hot forming of stainless steel components.

Advantages

Formulated on solvent refined mineral oil. Does not contain hazardous aromatic constituents or heavy metals,

such as Barium.

Contains high performance extreme pressure additives to provide excellent surface finish and to maximise die

life, which helps to reduce the costs associated with die polishing.

Good detergency and wetting properties aid to reduce product drag-out and help to remove metal fines and

particles from dies, minimising defects associated with particulates through cleaner machine tools and

components.

Good filtration characteristics can increase product lifetime.

Excellent oxidation and thermal stability helps to extend service life.
