Description
Castrol Rustilo ™ 652 (formerly SafeCoat ™ 652) is a general corrosion inhibitor
intended for cases where the use of solvent-based inhibitors
unacceptable.
Application
Rustilo ™ 652 is especially recommended for cold rolled products, bars and wires. Also can
used as an additive in cleaning and anticorrosion treatment processes using
hydrocarbon solvents. The recommended concentration for these applications is 10 - 30%.
Another application of Rustilo ™ 652 is protection of products after deep drawing and cold-rolled operations.

Can also be used as a test fluid for hydraulic equipment and when testing for
leaks from enclosed gears, pumps and tanks.
Can be applied by brush, spray or dip.
