CASTROL ANTIFOAM S 105

Description

Castrol Antifoam™ S 105 is a siloxane based antifoam additive especially developed for water based metalworking

fluids. It is optimised for stability and compatibility as an effective tank-side additive for both single sump machines as

well as central systems.

It is especially useful where fast and immediate foam control is required.

Application

Castrol Antifoam S 105 can be used in all water based metal working fluids where conditions of severe agitation have

created unacceptable foam levels. It provides a rapid defoaming action with a high degree of stability. Repeated use

may be required for long term effect.

Conditions of Use

Castrol Antifoam S 105 should only be used after consultation with Castrol’s Service Representative. Recommended

dosage for a foaming system is between 50 – 500 ppm by volume of emulsion.

Please shake before use to homogenized the fluid.

Storage

To avoid product deterioration always keep the pail tightly sealed. Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct

sunlight. Prevent exposure to frost and avoid water ingress. For optimum product stability, it is preferable to store the

product indoors between 5°C and 45 °C / 41°F and 113°F.
