Description
Castrol Antifoam S 101 is an aqueous solution of calcium acetate recommended for use in very soft water
systems. It can be used in single sump machines as well as central systems.
Application
Castrol Antifoam S 101 is recommended for use in water based metalworking fluids to increase water hardness. It
reduces unacceptable foam levels and also prevents foam from being generated.
Conditions of Use
Castrol Antifoam S 101 should only be used upon recommendation of Castrol’s Service Representative. Addition
of 0.1% will increase water hardness by 10 dH.

Storage
To avoid product deterioration, keep the container/drum tightly sealed always. Prevent any frost and water
ingress. Store it in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. It is preferable to store the product indoors
