CASTROL TECHNICLEAN 8580

Description

Castrol Techniclean™ S 8580 is an aqueous, alkaline industrial cleaner, containing biodegradable surfactants and

corrosion inhibitors. It is free of inorganic salts.

Application

Techniclean 8580 has been specifically designed to remove industrial quench oils from ferrous metals and should be

used in cleaning systems that have efficient oil removal equipment such as oil skimmers. Its powerful oil rejecting

properties are optimised to ensure a long bath life particularly with quench oils containing petroleum sulphonates.

Techniclean 8580 can also be used in other applications where it effectively removes soluble oils, neat cutting or light

forming oils, thin film corrosion preventives, lubrication oils and general dirt.

Conditions of Use

Optimum conditions of use are depending on the detailed application requirements and the amount and nature of the

soil being removed.
