CASTROL TURBO K CONCENTRATE GAS TURBINE CLEANER

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Turbo K is a water based, triple surfactant system detergent cleaner for off-line and on-line

washing of gas turbine engine compressors.

PRODUCT APPLICATIONS

Turbo K is specifically designed for the cleaning of gas turbine compressors of all sizes,

using either the hot on-line fired wash technique or the cold off-line cranked wash

technique, leaving the surface resistant to corrosion.

Spray ring or lance-type application equipment should be used, in accordance with the

instructions of the turbine manufacture.

Turbo K should be diluted to one part Turbo K with four parts water of quality according to

the Gas Turbine OEM specification. Can be used in ambient temperature solution or with

heated water as and if desired or specified.

NOTE

If used in low temperatures, a suitable antifreeze agent should be added according to Gas

Turbine OEM recommendation. Turbo K is fully compatible with IPA, Methanol, Ethylene,

Glycol, Methyl Ethyl Ketone and Acetone.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

Skin Contact Remove contaminated clothing. Wash gently and thoroughly with water

and non-abrasive soap. If irritation persists obtain medical advice.

Eye Contact Wash well with clean water, holding eyelids open. If irritation persists,

obtain medical advice.

Swallowing Do not induce vomiting. Immediately wash out mouth with water.

Obtain immediate medical advice.

Spillage Small spills should be soaked up with Castrol MOP Natural Absorbent

or similar inert oil absorbent. Larger spillages need to be contained

immediately and removed for disposal through an approved facility.

Disposal Dispose according to federal, E.P.A., state and local regulations.

Storage Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight. Store away

from incompatible materials. Protect containers from damage and frost.
