Mobil's polyalphaolefin (PAO) technology has been preferred in order to prevent its unmatched oxidation resistance and thermal properties, high viscosity index, excellent low temperature fluidity and unwanted compound formation that is generally observed in mineral oils. By combining this oil's high viscosity index and low coefficient of friction, power consumption has been significantly reduced in many gear drive units. Mobil Gear Shc Xmp 320 lubricants are not only perfectly protected against conventional wear patterns such as scratches, but also against tingling.
