CASTROL Rustilo DWX 51

Description

Castrol Rustilo™ DWX 51 is a powerful solvent deposited corrosion preventive with excellent dewatering properties. The

product, after evaporation of the solvent, leaves a soft greasy protective film.

Application

Rustilo DWX 51 is a medium to long term protective for use in severe conditions where a high degree of protection is

required. It is ideal for protection of machine tools and components prior to storage or transportation, such as

camshafts, crankshafts, gears and circular saw blades.

Rustilo DWX 51 also shows very good water displacing properties which allows the product to be used subsequent

to applications using water based coolants or alkaline process cleaners.

Although Rustilo DWX 51 can be applied by brushing or spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to

be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.
