Product description
Mobil Pegasus 705 is a premium high performance SAE 40 gas engine oil formulated to lubricate a wide range of natural gas fueled engines. Recommended for new stoichiometric and lean combustion high speed four-stroke engines sensitive to valve face and valve seat wear. This oil is also recommended for the lubrication of gas compressors and a wide range of engines requiring low ash oil. Mobil Pegasus 705 is formulated with high quality mineral based oils and is designed to provide excellent protection of engine and compressor parts and minimal deposits in the combustion chamber thanks to its superior additive system. Its outstanding chemical stability and resistance to oxidation and nitration provide longer oil life and lower filter replacement costs. These performance advantages, together with their outstanding detergent and dispersant characteristics, contribute to controlling the formation of ash and carbon deposits that can cause engine performance degradation and knocking.
Pegasus 705 provides longer engine life thanks to its excellent anti-corrosion properties in cylinders, valve areas and bearings. Its high anti-wear performance reduces the wear of rings, liners and bearings. It also provides exceptional valve seat and surface protection and reduces wear and debris build-up in the critical valve guides of heavily loaded turbocharged four-stroke engines.
Features and Benefits
Mobil Pegasus 705 gas engine oil provides cleaner engines, low wear rates and better engine performance. This product is particularly beneficial in increasing the valve life and engine performance of the new lean-burn, high-speed four-stroke engines operating under heavy loads. As a result, it helps you reduce maintenance costs and increase production capacity. Its excellent chemical and oxidative stability provides a longer oil change interval and reduces filter costs. Pegasus 705 reduces maintenance costs by increasing engine performance and reducing fuel costs, while at the same time reducing ash and carbon formation in the combustion chambers.
