Description
Castrol Surfactant S 607 is a non-ionic synthetic alcohol ethoxylate especially developed for soluble metalworking fluids,
water based cleaners and deformation products. It is optimised for stability and compatibility as an effective tank-side
additive for both single sump machines as well as central systems. It helps improve detergency, reduce chip build up
and help adjust surface tension of working emulsions.
Application
Castrol Surfactant S 607 can be used in all aqueous systems where system cleanliness is a concern resulting in
residues and deposition.
Recommended Concentrations
Castrol Surfactant S 607 should only be used after consultation with Castrol’s Service Representative. Recommended
dosage is 0.005% to 0.03%. Overuse can result in increased foaming in the water based system.
Storage
To avoid product deterioration, keep the container/drum tightly sealed always. Prevent any frost and water ingress. Store
it in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. It is preferable to store the product indoors always. For more details,
