Description
Castrol Surfactant™ S 620 is a superior quality emulsifying additive based on highly effective non-ionic surfactant
especially developed for mineral oil based soluble metalworking fluids.
It is optimised for stability and compatibility as an effective tank-side additive for both single sump machines as well as
central systems.
Application
Castrol Surfactant S 620 helps to adjust surface tension of working emulsion thereby improving detergency and chip
build up. Its superior wetting properties help keep the residues formed during machining soft and easy to clean.
It shows good solubility in water and is low foaming over a wide temperature range.
Recommended Concentrations
Castrol Surfactant S 620 should only be used after consultation with Castrol’s Service Representative. Recommended
dosage is 0.1% to 0.2%. Overuse can result in increased foaming in the water based system.
