The products of the Movil Vacuoline 500 Series provide versatile lubrication for a wide variety of industrial equipment. Mobil Vacuoline 500 Series lubricants are heavy-duty circulating oils designed for the needs of No-Twist Rod mills, but their performance makes them an excellent option for recirculating gears and bearings. Mobil Vacuoline 500 Series is designed to meet the critical demands of Morgan Construction Company's high-speed No-Twist Rod Mills, as well as the circulation oil requirements of Danielli rod mills.

The oil is formulated with high quality base oils and a special additive system to provide excellent spreading on metal surfaces, outstanding adhesion and thin film protection against rust and corrosion. Mobil Vacuoline 500 has excellent oxidation and thermal degradation resistance and provides a high level of protection against wear. It has superior water separation feature that allows water and other dirt to be separated from oil in the system reservoir immediately. Mobil Vacuoline 500 Series is available in six different viscosity grades.

Usage places

These oils are primarily intended for the lubrication of plain bearings, roller bearings, parallel shaft and bevel gears. They are suitable for use as multi-purpose lubricants in systems that are not exposed to impact loads and do not require extreme pressure performance. Mobil Vacuoline 500 series has good water separation properties that persist even in cases of severe water contamination. Mobil Vacuoline 500 series are used in applications using splash, bath and ring lubricated systems and all other application methods including pumps, valves and auxiliary equipment. They are recommended for use in hydraulic systems where high viscosity oils are required. They are particularly resistant to the effects of prolonged exposure to high temperature and perform well in circulating systems with short oil rest periods.

Mobil Vacuoline 525, 528, 533 can also be used in hydraulic systems using gear, vane, radial and axial piston pumps where high viscosity anti-wear hydraulic oils are required.

It can be used in some compressors and vacuum pumps operating with air and inert gases provided that the outlet temperatures do not exceed 150oC; It is not suitable for compressors that fill air tubes used for breathing.
